Before applying for the Bihar Student Credit Card (BSCC), applicants should keep the following documents ready. These are essential for successful verification and approval of the education loan under the 7 Nischay Yojana scheme.

1. Aadhaar Card of the student and parents/guardians for identity and residence verification.
2. Passport-size Photographs of the student and co-applicant (parent or guardian).
3. 10th / 12th Marksheet or latest educational qualification certificate.
4. College Admission Proof such as Offer Letter, Admission Slip, or Bonafide Certificate issued by the institution.
5. Residential Certificate issued by the competent authority confirming Bihar residency.
6. Date of Birth Proof (can be the 10th Marksheet or Birth Certificate).
7. Income Certificate of parents/guardians (if required by the DRCC office).
8. Course Fee Structure provided by the college/institution.
9. Bank Account Details (for verification and repayment purposes).
10. Any other supporting documents requested by the District Registration and Counseling Center (DRCC) during the verification process.

The Bihar Student Credit Card (BSCC) Scheme is an initiative under the “Mukhyamantri 7 Nischay Yojana” launched by the Government of Bihar to provide financial support to students pursuing higher education. Through this scheme, eligible students can avail education loans of up to ₹4 lakh at low interest rates to cover tuition fees, books, accommodation, and other study-related expenses.

Step-by-Step Application Process:

1. Visit the official website of the Bihar Student Credit Card Portal.
2. Click on “New Applicant Registration” and enter your basic details such as name, email ID, and mobile number. You will receive an OTP to verify your registration.
3. After verification, log in using your registered credentials and fill out the application form with complete academic and personal information.
4. Upload all required documents such as:
   • Aadhaar Card of applicant and parents
   • 10th / 12th Marksheet or last passed examination certificate
   • College Admission Proof (Offer Letter / Fee Slip)
   • Passport-size Photograph
   • Residence Certificate
5. Once submitted, your details will be forwarded to the District Registration and Counseling Center (DRCC) for verification.
6. You will receive a call or message from DRCC regarding your document verification and appointment schedule. Visit DRCC with original documents for physical verification.
7. After successful verification, the loan request will be processed by the Bank. The sanctioned amount will be transferred directly to your college or institution.
8. Students can track their application status online through the BSCC portal and will be notified once the process is complete.
